Devorah Blachor is the author of The Feminist’s Guide to Raising a Little Princess. She also wrote a mystery series under the pen name Jasmine Schwartz about a thirty-something New Yorker whose search for herself is constantly interrupted by the discovery of dead bodies. Her novels include Farbissen and Fakakt.
Devorah chronicled her international move in a weekly column for The New York Times Motherlode. Her articles and essays have appeared in the Washington Post, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, The Rumpus, Splitsider, Redbook, The Christian Science Monitor, Stir Journal, Good Housekeeping, The Forward, Purple Clover, The Hairpin and other publications. She blogs on Medium and on The Huffington Post.
She’s also worked as a journalist, archivist, satellite technician, secretary, film editor, and a writer for Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. She produced and directed the award winning documentary ‘Waiting For Quds’.
